It was suggested that URO function might be associated with auxinmediated plant development. In order to know the role and the genetic net work ofURO gene, suppressors(double mutants with suppressed phenotype of uromutant) were screened through EMS mutagenesis and Ac /Ds transposon system. Several suppressors have been selected, validated and further analyzed. These suppressors will provide important clews for the function network of URO gene.
